Unwind Summer School for Children

Unwind is one of the most popular summer schools in the local community, attended by pupils from all over London. It was founded by Da’watul Islam Youth Group (DIYG) in 1999 with only 50 students. Alhamdulillah, due to its success and demand, Unwind has now expanded dramatically to over 500 students attending each year. It has become a highlight of the summer for boys and girls from four to sixteen years.

Unwind aims to provide an opportunity for Muslim children to learn about Islam, and thereby recognise their identity. The two week programme is packed with various different activities to allow children of all ages to take part; ranging from sports, trips, role plays, poster making, debates, painting, nasheeds, bazaar, and much more.
